∠A + ∠C = 180° …..(1) [Opposite angles of cyclic quadrilateral] 

Since m ∠A = 3(m∠C) (given) 

=> ∠A = 3∠C …(2) 

Equation (1) => 3∠C + ∠C = 180° 

or 4∠C = 180° 

or ∠C = 45° From equation (2) 

∠A = 3 x 45° = 135°
