In ∆ABC, AB = 24 cm, BC = 10 cm and AC = 26 cm. Is this triangle a right triangle? Give reasons for your answer.

Here AB²= 576, BC² = 100 and AC² = 676.

So, AC² = AB² + BC²

Hence, the given triangle is a right triangle.
