From the figure we know that ∠AOC and ∠BOC are a linear pair of angles

So we get

∠AOC + ∠BOC = 180^o

We know that

62^o + x^o = 180^o

On further calculation

x^o = 180^o – 62^o

By subtraction

x^o = 118^o

Therefore, the value of x is 118.
