Members of the constituent assembly also tended to have CONFLICTING opinion, often because they CAME from different communities. (ii) THUS, the Constituent Assembly had to manage between these conflicting opinionsand interests. (iii) Many members of the Constituent Assembly demanded that abattoirs should be closed and cow-slaughter made a criminal offence. (iv) Some people wanted HINDI as a national language and many OTHERS opposed it tooth and nail.
