Ratio of Atul and Akhil present age is 5 : 3 and ratio of Atul and Akhil age after 6 years is 7 : 5.

Let the present age of Atul and Akhil is 5x and 3x.

According to question,

(5x + 6)/ (3x + 6) = 7/5

⇒ 5(5x + 6) = 7(3x + 6)

⇒ 25x + 30 = 21x + 42

⇒ 4x = 12; x = 3

∴ present age of Atul is 15 years.

Quantity B: 12 years

∴ Quantity A > Quantity B
