Answer» Thorn forests and scrubs are found in the north western part of India including semi-arid areas of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. 1. Found in regions with less than 70cm of rainfall 2. Trees are scattered and have long roots penetrating deep into soil to get moisture. 3. Stems are succulent to conserve water. 4. Leaves are thick and small to minimise evaporation. |
