Baking soda is basic in nature. It is WIDELY used in food products so that's why it cant have a ACIDIC nature. Basically SODIUM bicarbonate comprise of which is chemical with high PH. Thus due to this high ph it can react with other foods.Explanation:hope it helps you good day!!
