No yrr I don't think so mate! Its just mentality our society that a girl nd boy NEVER be friends.
I have also my best friend and he is also boy. See its doesn't matter if ur having friend a girl or a boy. But if that person who is ur friend is TRUSTABLE nd always helped so mate this is called TRUE friends.
