1.	Is it true that there is more solar energy available in the trophics ? Explain briefly.
Answer» The length of day and night are equal in the equatorial region. But as we move from the equator to the polar region the length of the day goes on decreasing and that of night increasing. Therefore, it is true that there is more solar energy available in the tropics.
