Answer» Solution :WHILL pusing,the vertical component of the applied force increase the effective weight of the lawn mover and hence the normal REACTION.So the sorce of friction is increased and it is difficult to move it.On the there hand when we pull a lawn mower, the vertical component of the applied force REDUCE is effective weight and normal reaction. conseqently, friction forces much REDUCED.
