Answer» Last week, we celebrated English Week in our school. It was decided that only English would be used in school. The teachers and students had a wonderful time. Many activities were held during the week. There was an essay-writing competition on ‘The Advantages of English Language’. There were poetry recitation competitions, debates and elocution. All the students and teachers enjoyed various games that were based on the English language. I won the Spelling-Bee competition. It was great fun. I honestly feel that English, as a language, should be taught in all schools. It is the international language of communication. Everyone should have the basic knowledge of English. |
