Answer» Correct Answer - Option 1 : Only 1

Given:

X is divisible by 2 and Y is divisible by 6

Formula Used:

Basic concept of number system

Calculation:

It is given that X is divisible by 2

∴ X is multiple of 2

⇒ x = 2a

And Y is divisible by 6

∴ Y is multiple of 6

⇒ Y = 6b

Now, (X + Y) = 2a + 6b = 2 × (a + 3b)

So, (X + Y) is multiple of 2

∴ It is divisible by 2

Hence, option (1) is correct
