Data : λ = 650 nm = 6.5 × 10-7 m, 

n = 1, 2α = 60°

∴ α = 30°

Resolving power of the microscope = \(\cfrac{2n \,sin \,α}λ\)

\(\cfrac{2\times1\times\,sin\,30^\circ}{6.5\times10^{-7}}\) = \(\cfrac{10}{6.5}\) x 106
