non renewable resources are resources which can not be replenished or replaced quickly .three non renewable resources are coal ,petroleum and natural gas

it consists of methane with small quanties if ethane and propane.it occurs deep under the CRUST of the eart either alone or alongwith oil above petroleum deposists.

petroleum
it is a fossil fuel .it is dark coloured ,viscous and foul smelling liquid commmonly called crude oil.it is found in rock formations in the earth .

uses it provides fuel for heat and lightning ,lubricants for machinery and raw materialsfor number of manufacturing industries.

1 it is used as fuel for heating purposes in HOME and industry.
2 it is used to make coke .
3 it is used to manufacture of fuel GASES like coal gas.
