HISTORICAL Places of India:-

1. Qutub Minar, New DELHI:-

• The construction of Qutub Minar was STARTED by the first Muslim king of Delhi—Qutbuddin Aibak.
• Qutb Uddin Aibak belongs to the Slave Dynasty. The foundation stone of the tower was laid in 1199 and hence the first floor was constructed, after which his son-in -law added 3 more floors to it.
• Qutub Minar is one of the world's most famous and historic tourist destinations.
• It is the tallest tower in the world made with brick.

2. Red Fort, New Delhi:-

• The Red Fort was built in the 17th century by the late Mughal emperor Shah Jahan.
• Shah Jahan himself was supervising the construction of this fort.
• When he made his capital Shahjatanabad in Delhi in 1638, which was the seventh CITY of Delhi, he ordered the Red Fort to be built.
• The construction of this fort began in the holy month of Muharram.

3. Taj Mahal, Uttar Pardesh:-

• Taj Mahal is situated in Agra of Uttar Pardesh, India.
• The Taj Mahal is the tomb of Mumtaz Mahal, the third begum of Shah Jahan. After Mumtaz's death, Shah Jahan built the Taj Mahal in her memory.
• The marble of Makrana is a major contributor to the beauty of the Taj Mahal of Agra included among the most beautiful buildings in the world. Thus artisans from different places built the Taj Mahal.
• The ENTIRE Taj Mahal is made of Makrana marble.
