total length including path = 8x+4

total breadth including Path = 5x+4

area of path = total area - area of park

640 = (8x+4)*(5x+4) - 8x*5x

640=40x²+32x+20x+16-4x²

640=52x+16

-52x=16-640

-52x=624

x=12

length = 8*12=96m

breadth = 5*12= 60m
