Answer» Sinhala speaking community who followed Buddhism took many majoritarian measures to establish supremacy over Srilankan Tamils :- 1. They declared Sinhala as an official language . 2. They tried to promote their religion (ie,Buddhism). 3. In order to gain control over Tamil speakers they changed constitution and made new constitution in their own favour and pleasure. 4. This resulted in that ,Tamilian speakers felt that their culture was not given importance,so they felt very embarrassed. |
