| Answer» In mesopotamia there was a system of nuclear family and father. Was considered as the head of the family .The declaration for the marriage was made by the bride parent\'s and after that further processes of marriage started.Then after that groom side gave a gift to bride and on the day of marriage Both the parties exchange gift to each other .Who ate together when the wedding took place and give some offerings. In the temple. And when her mother inlaw came to fetch her then she got the part of property which belongs to her.<br>MARRIAGE SYSTEM:- A declaration was made about the procedures for marriage. After that the bride\'s family by the groom\'s family. Gifts was exchange by both parties after the wedding. Both the parties used to eat together and offered together in a temple . The bride was given her share of the inheritance by her father when bride\'s mother in law came to fetch (bring ) her. Sons used to inherit the house, herds, fields,etc.,of the father. | |
