We, in future, will have to face terrible problems because of continual climate change and Global warming. We can put control on worsening situation by following certain Dos and Don’ts. Emissions of CO₂ or Carbon Footprints should be reduced at any cost. Greenhouse gases emitted through transport, fuels, manufactured goods, etc. should be curtailed.

We should use solar energy in place of electricity. We can lessen the use of paper by using soft e-devices. Energy efficient gadgets like air-conditioners, ovens, refrigerator should be put into use replacing the older ones.

LED lights can save a lot of electricity. Battery driven means of transport should be given preference. We should prefer walking, cycling or using public transport. We should re-orient our electricity consumption habits.

We should buy intelligently like buying recycled paper products and prefer bio-degradable plastics over conventional plastics. We should use water judiciously and calibratedly and save it by changing our ways of its use. We should protect forests and cultivate barren stretched of land growing bio-fuel crops.

Household wet-waste should be composted separately. Imbibing three ‘R’s with respect to water, viz. ‘Repair’, ‘Reclaim’ and ‘Restore’ in addition to the three conventional ones, i.e., ‘Recycle’, ‘Reduce’ and ‘Reuse’.

We should adopt this ecological wisdom by all means, which is the Requirement that humans learn to live within Earth’s ecological and natural resource limits.
