1.	Mention 3 reasons of selecting only one standard meridian for India's standard time . Pls give effective answer
Answer» From Gujarat to Arunachal Pradesh there is a time lag of two hours. Hence time along the standard meridian of India(82°30`E)PASSING through Mirzapur is taken as the standard time for WHOLE country. Otherwise different regions of India would have different time which would create time confusion to MAINTAIN HARMONY and uniformity of time we need standard Meridian.
