Answer» On August 13, 1990, the Government of INDIA issued a policy stating that 27% of vacancies in civil posts and services of government were reserved for Socially and educationally backward classes (SEBC). The policy was widely OPPOSED and cases were filed against the government by the public. The case was called Indira Sawhney.
