Let, the equal distance travel = a km

∴ (a/12) + (a/18) + (a/24) = 13

Taking LCM of 12, 18 and 24, we get 72.

∴ (6a/72) + (4a/72) + (3a/72) = 13

⇒ (6a + 4a + 3a)/72 = 13

⇒ 13a/72 = 13

⇒ a = (13 × 72)/13

⇒ a = 72 km
