More force is required to push a body than pull to get same speed on a ground with some friction. Why? |
|
Answer» When we push, the action on the surface and normal reaction on the body increases. (Friction is directly proportional to normal reaction). As a result more force is required to push the body. When we pull, normal reaction decreases. Hence friction decreases. Hence less force is required to pull the body. |
