• They are found in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh.

• Mangrove forests are also termed as Tidal Forest.

• Sundari, Palm, and timber trees are the important trees of this forest.

• Snakes, turtles, crocodiles, Royal Bengal Tigers are found in these forests.
