Answer» The next night when the nightingale got ready to sing a song, she was startled by a croaking voice. It was the frog who had become jealous of her by now because of the reaction of the creatures of the Bingle Bog. He felt threatened and so had decided to talk to the nightingale. She enquired of the frog if it was he who had spoken just then and the frog confirmed it by saying that he was the owner of that sumac tree and was very popular in that bog because of his deep voice. He further said that he also wrote for the ‘Bog Trumpet’ quite often. Poetic Devices : Alliteration : Next night when the nightingale twitched her tail |
