Answer» ar Energy:-Solar power is energy from the sun that is converted into thermal or electrical energy. Solar technologies can harness this energy for a variety of uses, including generating ELECTRICITY and heating water for domestic, commercial, or industrial use.(ii) Wind Energy:-Wind energy DESCRIBES the process by which wind is used to generate electricity. Wind turbines convert the kinetic energy in the wind into mechanical power. A GENERATOR can convert mechanical power into electricity. Mechanical power can also be utilized directly for specific tasks such as PUMPING water.(iii) Hydroelectricity:-Hydroelectricity is electricity made by generators that are pushed by the movement of water. It is usually made with dams that block a river to make a reservoir or collect water that is pumped there. This causes the turbine to turn, which turns a generator which makes electricity.(iv) Tidal Energy:-Tidal energy is a renewable energy powered by the natural rise and fall of ocean tides and currents. Some of these technologies include turbines and paddles. Tidal energy is produced by the surge of ocean waters during the rise and fall of tides. Tidal energy is a renewable source of energy.(v) Nuclear Energy:-Nuclear energy is energy in the NUCLEUS (core) of an atom. Atoms are tiny particles that make up every object in the universe. In nuclear fission, atoms are split apart to form smaller atoms, releasing energy.Nuclear power plants use nuclear fission to produce electricity. |
