Thermoplastics are the plastics which change their shape when heated.they have linear polymersthermosetting plastics do not change their shape if they are heated.they have cross linked polymers.2. PVC is a thermoplastic and is used for making toys, slippers etc. Bakelite is a THERMOSETTING plastic and is used for making electrical switches, handles of various utensils.3. Rayon smells LIKE burning paper as it is made from wood pulp and paper is ALSO made from wood pulp4. i am sorry i do not know but i think it is because after iron age it is plastic age and so plastic REPLACED iron in many places and maybe that is why plastic does not like iron.nylon--------- fibrePVC-----------thermoplasticbakelite------thermosetting plastic |
