Answer» Answer: ALTHOUGH two THIRD of the earth's surface is covered by water, yet one of the cites of Africa has run out of water because half of the water is stored up in oceans, GLACIERS and seas and which is not fit for human consumption. These waters are salty and are not used by us. The pure water is stored in the form of ice in MOUNTAINS and other glaciers which are not accessible by us. Hence it is being a problem for some cities around the world. |
