Problem 10.Two bus routes stop at a certain bus stop. The A bus comes in one -hour intervals while theB bus also comes in regular intervals of a different length. When grandma rests on the benchby the bus stop, one A bus and two B buses come by. Later, grandpa rests on the same benchand eight A buses come by. The minimum number of B buses that must have come byduring that time is less than p, then find the least p |

Answer» the least of P would be 8+1 = 9 because in 1 hour only 1 A bus can come. suppose B comes in every 59 min. so before end of 8th hour , only 7 A busses would come. but since 59min will complete first before the completion of that last hour , so bus B will come again. so min value of B will always be A+1.that is 9. |
