Q.6. Give geographical reasons:Brazil's population density in very less.

Answer»

Brazil’s population is concentrated in coastal areas, as reflex of its process of colonisation. Inner areas are sparsely populated, primarily because there’s no govt’ effort to build access to those areas that are mostly over intense jungle.

The distribution of population throughout Brazil is very uneven. Areas with a high population density tend to be around major towns and cities. More than 40% of the total population live around in the Southeast, but however this land is only 18% of the total area. This means that a large area of Brazil is thinly populated.
