Q: give reasons:a) chlorine is more electro-negative than sulphur? |
|
Answer» Chlorine is more electro-negative than SULPHUR because chlorine has only ONE valency. It can easily donate the electron or GAIN only one electron from any other element. But sulphur has 2 valency. It has to gain 2 electrons from any other element. |
