People USE electricity for lighting, heating, cooling, and refrigeration and for operating APPLIANCES, computers, electronics, machinery, and public transportation systems.

Write the the difference between primary cell and secondary?

A primary cell cannot be recharged whereas a secondary cell can be recharged. In a primary cell chemical reaction is irreversible whereas in a secondary cell chemical reaction is REVERSIBLE. A primary cell is light and LESS expensive whereas a secondary cell is heavy and expensive.

What is the function of electric switch?

The purpose of a switch in a series circuit is to make it easy to open or close the electrical circuit, turning the flow of electricity on or off.
