Solution :(a) Auxin precursors : The SUBSTANCES that PRODUCE the auxin are called auxin precursors. For example, tryptophan. Tryptophans is the auxin precursors.
(B) Antiauxins : The substance that inhibit action of auxins e.g. P-chlorophenoxy isobutyric acid (PCIB), TIBA [Triodobenzoic acid]
(c) Synthetic auxins : The artificially synthesised chemicals having auxin like property are called synthetic auxins. For example NAA (Naphthalene acetic acid) and 2, 4-D [2, 4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic acid]
