Answer»

Solution :Lysosomes and vacuoles both are parts of endomembrane system but they are different in forms of functions. Lysosomes bags possess all TYPES of hydrolytic ENZYMES which are CAPABLE of performingdigestion of lipids, proteins, carbohydrates, nucleic acids etc.
Vacuoles contain water, sap, excretory PRODUCT and other MATERIALS not useful for the cell. In plants, the tonoplast facilitates the transport of a number of ions and other materials against concentration gradients into the vacuoles.
Thus lysosomes and vacuoles differ in terms of their functions.
