Solution :In angiosperms AMONG two male gametes, one of the male gametes FUSES with egg CELL and forms a zygote while the other male gamete fuses with the diploid secondary nucleus and forms triploid PRIMARY ENDOSPERM nucleus (PEN). This involvement of two fusions, is called double fertilisation.
