Answer» Solution :Cytokinesis is the division of cytoplasm, whereas karyokinesis is the division of the NUCLEUS (cell division). Karyokinesis is COMPLETED through different PHASES (such as PROPHASE, metaphase, anaphase and telophase) wherbas cytokinesis does not CONSIST of phases. Karyokinesis occurs at the beginning of the cell division whereas cytokinesis occurs at the end of cell division after completion of karyokinesis.
