Question : Give Scientific reasons In recombinant DNA technology the use of endonuclease is more proper than exonuclease. |
| Answer» Solution :In recombinant DNA technology the fragment of desired DNA is either Joined with vector or by cutting COPIES are prepared. For that cutting of vector and desired DNA is essential, Endonuclease does cutting in such a way that sticky ENDS are PRODUCED inside DNA. While Exonuclease remove end terminals and produce BLUNT ends but sticky ends are necessary to connect a piece of desired DNA with vector. Therefore endonuclease is more proper enzyme than exonuclease. | |
