Question :How does cytokinesis in plant cells differ from that in animal cells? |

Answer» Solution :Due to presence of cell WALL cytoplasmic division differs greatly in plant cell from animal cell. Instead of producing centracted ring, plant cells produce cell plate in the middle of cell. Golgi bodies release vesicles having material of cell wall. It produces cell plate on equatorial pole. In plant cells cytoplasmic division starts from centre and ATTACH to cell wall located INITIALLY towards periphery. |
