Answer» Solution :1. Excessive salt CONSUMPTION raises the blood pressure. It causes rise in some hormones like ADH causing IMBALANCE in the HOMEOSTASIS. 2. High blood pressure or hypertension causes pressure on heart. 3. Excessive consumption of fats LEADS to deposition of fats in the linings of major blood vessels. This leads to the FORMATION of atherosclerotic plaques, decreasing the size of the lumen of blood vessels. This condition called atherosclerosis which causes more hypertension. 4. Both these conditions, i.e. hypertension and atherosclerosis contribute to the heart disease. |
