Question : How lytic cycle differs from lysogenic cycle ?

Answer»

Solution :Lytic cycle is VIRULENT FORM of LIFE cycle. Lysogenic cycle is non-virulent or TEMPERATE form of life cycle. In lytic cycle, viral genome does not produce a repressor. A repressor is formed to check the destruction of host DNA in lysogenic cycle, DNA of host CELL is hydrolysed in lytic cycle. DNA of host cell is not harmed in lysogenic cycle
