Methods to Detect Cancer of Internal Organs:
(i) Biopsy or taking a small piece of TISSUE, staining, HISTOPATHOLOGY and DETERMINATION of cancer cells. Pap (papanicolaou) test is used for detection of cancer of vagina, cervix and endometrium.
(ii) Radiographic analysis like computed tomography (CT) scan and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) help in diagnosis of cancers of internal organs.
(iii) Detection of cancer specific antigens through MONOCLONAL antibodies or presence of abnormal leucocytes.
