Answer» Solution :Mycorrhiza : Roots in some GENERA have fungal association in the form of Mycorrhiza (Mycos-fungi, Rize - roots). Fungi forms a colony in outside cells or inside cells of host plant. It absorbs nutrients from sild. The association of mycorrhiza is seen in CONIFER like Pinus, seeds, Abies and Picea. Corolloid Roots : It is seen in cycas. It arises at basal part of baby plant grows from soil and stem. It is BRANCHED and of greenish colour algal colony is found in its cortex. Anabaena and Nostoc algae are present in it which spends symbiotic association / relation with CORALLOID roots. |
