Answer» Solution :Generally algae are found at various DEPTHS in the OCEAN. These is diversity found in thei PHOTOSYNTHETIC pigments which can absorb light of various wave lenghts and can perform photo synthesis. e.g, : algae (GREEN Algae) Chlorophyll-a (red light is absorbed) and Chlorophyll-b (absorbs violet light) BROWN Algae : Chlorophyll-a, c and Fucoxanthin (absorbs yellow light). Red algae : Chlorophyll-d and phycoerythrin. |
