Question : The roof of the cranium of frog is formed by

Answer»

parasphenoid
alisphenoid
frontoparietal
orbitosphenoid

Solution :Dorsal part of the cranium is formed of tow large and flat frontoparietals which are articulated together by a mid dorsal sagittal suture together and are COLLECTIVELY called frontoparietal. Endo-frontoparietal consists of a frontal BONE (in front) and a parietal bone (behind). But noe it has been proved that it is only the frontal bone, the parietals are not PRESENT in FROG due to the ABSENCE of neck.
