Solution :When two DIFFERENT incompatible blood types are mixed, AGGLUTINATION (clumping together) of erythrocytes (RBC) occurs. The basis of these chemical differences is due to the presence of antigens (SURFACE antigens ) on the MEMBRANCE of RBC and EPITHELIAL cells.
