Answer» Solution :In SIMPLE eyes' a single lens collects and focuses light ONTO the retina of the eye. 2. In CASE of compound eyes, multiple lenses are involved. Each of them focuses the light onto a small number of retinula cells. 3. All the cells must coordinate to help the animal visualise the object. 4. The vision is thus decribed as mosaic vision. |
