Its composition is same as plasma but it contains less amount of blood proteins, RBCs and fat globules. It is a medium of exchange of substances between cells and blood capillaries. Plasma is a viscous fliuid flowing in CLOSED ducts. It contains large amount of blood cells, blood protein, NUTRIENTS, HORMONES and enzymes.
