Solution :Stomata. The stomata are small apertures PRESENT in the EPIDERMIS of the leaf. Each stoma is bounded by two guard cells. In dicots two guard cellsare kidney shaped while in monocots the guard cells are DUMB bell shaped. The inner WALL of guard cells bordering the aperture are THICKER than the outer wall. In each guard cell there are present chloroplasts.
