Answer» Solution :(a) Whenanimals do physical EXERCISE at thattime deficit of `O_(2)`is created anaerobic respiration takes palce. Atthis time pyruvicacid gets converted intolactic acid by enzyme lactatedehydrogenate. (b) Anaerobic respiration takes place in yeast in absence of `O_(2)`. Whilepyruvic acid is converted into `CO_(2)`and ethanol is obtained which is done through enzyme pyruvic acid decarboxylase and ALCOHOL dehydrogenase. |
