- Read the message and answer the following questions Once a sage gave a chest to one of his disciples. When the disciple opened it, he discovered a wonderful mirror and also a note that said: "Here you can see the cause of all your problems, but also the person who could get you out of all of them." Questions: What do you think the wise man meant by that phrase? Do you think when a person looks in the mirror, he only concentrates on his appearance, or do you often think he can see beyond that, i.e. his qualities? They say that the eyes are the window to the soul. What message do you think what is in your eyes conveys to others? Help! Please |

Answer» The wise man MEANS that ourselves, and only ourselves are the CAUSE of our own problems and difficulties. At the same time, our own selves are the only person who can solve our problems. When a person looks in the mirror, she/he often concentrates only on the outer appearance rather than their inner, and more appealing qualities. But it is POSSIBLE to concentrate more on our qualities if we pay less attention to outer appearances. As William Shakespeare suggests, your eyes may really be the window to your soul. According to a NEW study by Yale UNIVERSITY psychologists, most people intuitively feel as if their "self" — otherwise known as their soul, or ego — exists in or near their eyes.Hope this Helps |
